JANIS MARSDEN
Mortgage Broker - Okanagan Division
Janis was born and raised in North Vancouver where she enjoyed a variety of outdoor pursuits including hiking, biking, roller-blading and tennis. Eager for new adventure and a new lifestyle, she recently re-located to the Okanagan, took up residence in Peachland, and has added golf to her repertoire of outdoor sports. In addition, as a Director of the Chamber of Commerce in Peachland, she organizes community events to promote businesses and business development in her community.
Formal education achievements for Janis include a Bachelor of Education from U.B.C., Post-Baccalaureate Degree from S.F.U., and a mortgage broker’s license and real estate licence from Sauder School of Business at U.B.C.
Janis has enjoyed a successful teaching career; however, her passion is the mortgage business. She acquired her mortgage sub-broker’s licence in 1997, and provided mortgage information and service as an in-house broker for Prudential Sussex Realty in North and West Vancouver.
